Your views on Section 20
We’re reviewing how we look after communal spaces, inside and out, at Love Living Homes properties.
As the freeholder it’s our responsibility to keep the land around these homes, and shared spaces within them, clean and tidy. This work is known as Estate Services and is carried out on our behalf by specialist contractors.
Love Living Homes is an extension and trading name of Town & Country Housing (TCH), and the Estate Services contracts are managed by TCH. These are coming to an end in March 2025, and because of the size of the contracts, it’s important to shop around to make sure we’re getting the best deal. We’re also using the opportunity to see if there are any extra services that could be provided.

Section 20
As a leaseholder you’ll have received, or will receive soon, a Section 20 (S20) notice in the post. This notice tells you that we intend to carry out work or provide a service that you will have to pay towards.
It will include information about what we plan to do and how much it is estimated to cost. It will give you the opportunity to take part in the consultation process and comment on what is being planned.
As this initial stage is open to all contractors based in the UK please feel to share this webpage with any companies you may know who would be able to provide the services we require.
