Information for Homeowners

If you are buying a house and there is a loft area, you are able to use the loft for light storage as long as you are sensible with what you store up there i.e. no flammable or edible items, unless your lease stipulates otherwise.  Please check with the Homeownership Team if you need permission to board your loft for further storage. If you live in an apartment, the loft space is not part of your property and cannot be used to store items. It should only ever be accessed for repair and maintenance purposes.
