Depending on your tenancy type, you may have an Assured Shorthold with a 12 months agreement, if this the case, once that fixed term has come to an end, you our tenancy will become ‘Periodic’, meaning it will continue on the same terms. This is often referred to a ‘rolling’ tenancy.
With rolling contracts, the tenancy can be ended by either party at any time. Tenants must give 1 months notice, and landlords must give 2 months notice.
If you have an Assured Tenancy, your tenancy will continue until you wish to end your tenancy, you must give 2 months notice. If we want to end your tenancy, we will give you the appropriate notice required.
